Sheree Yau

Expertise
The common theme of my research is studying the function, ecology and evolution of microorganisms and viruses. The research projects that I have carried out have been at the level of single genes, populations and whole communities, which has entailed analysing a wide range of "omics" data: genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metagenomics, metaproteomics and metabarcoding. My current research interest is in understanding host–virus interactions in marine microbial algae.
